February 15th: Oasis are this weeks number one but don't expect them to be up there for very long. The new All Saints single is released this week and is already out-selling Oasis fast. Although there has been loads of promotion for the track due to it being on the soundtrack for film "The Beach", many are saying that it hasn't made much difference...the song is being tipped as the best song of the year so far; it has become difficult to purchase in London's Oxford Street, proving that the year 2000 is definetly bringing some quality music.

February 8th: Latin rapper, Big Punisher(real name Christopher Rios), has died aged 28 from an apparant heart attack. Recently hailed by critics and nominated for best rap album at the Grammy's, Rios has had many concerned about his weight, whcih has stopped him from performing recently. Although he is not very well known in the UK, he does make an appearance in Jennifer Lopez's latest video "Feelin' So Good".

Also today, Emma Bunton is denying any rumours that Mel B and Mel C are arguing over Geri Halliwell. At a recent charity concert, Mel C spoke to Geri backstage, putting behind any differences. Mel B however was upset with this, causing in-band arguments. The Spice Girls are to collect a Lifetime Achivement Award at next month's Brit Awards, but details are not confirmed about Geri's appearance onstage with the rest of the girls.
